VisualMILL uses a Windows® style user interface with innovations that ease programming complexity. Use the browser to manage CAM data, setup, create and simulate machining operations. Access the tools manager to easily manage cutter and cutter libraries.

File Import Options
File Import OptionsVisualMILL reads a variety of file formats, reliably and accurately. File translators such as Rhino, SolidWorks, STL, IGES, AutoCAD and more as well as geometry creation and editing tools.

Hole Making
A variety of hole making strategies are available including standard, drilling, tapping, boring, and reverse boring. Users can select holes based on size, color, layer, and order of creation, and optimize the tool path based direction, angle, cut pattern, and sort along an angle.

Post Processor

VisualMILL has built in support for over 100 post processors. Additionally VisualMILL comes with a post processor generator which can be used to create additional post processors. So if your controller reads in M & G codes, VisualMILL will be able to supply you with a post for it.

VisualMILL has the capability to output APT format files. You can then take these APT files and use an APT post-processor if you have one available. VisualMILL can also output toolpaths directly to a Roland machine.

Machine Tool Interface

VisualMILL supports automatic tool changers effortlessly by archiving all created operations in an operation list and outputting them all at once to the controller if the user so desires.

VisualMILL 6.0 comes bundled with a single port DNC program for output to your machine tool, and a G-Code editor program for efficient editing of G-code files. Additional ports can be purchased and added to the existing setup.
