TurboCAD Mac version
4 has the ability to directly import TurboCAD Mac version 1 files. Therefore, you will need to save your
existing version 3 drawings in a version 1 format. To do this, please follow these steps:
- In
your TurboCAD Mac version 3 product, open the file you wish to use in
version 4. From the ‘File’ menu,
choose ‘Export’ and then make sure you select ‘v1.0’ as the Export
type. Save the file under the name
you wish and note that files saved in TurboCAD Mac (2D-only version) will
be saved with a ‘.TC2’ file extension, while files saved in TurboCAD Mac
PRO (2D/3D edition) will be saved in a ‘.TC3’ file extension.
- To
open this saved file in your copy of TurboCAD Mac version 4, from the
‘File’ menu, choose the ‘Import’ option and make sure file type is set to
‘TC2, .TC3, .TCM’. Find the file
saved in your version 3 and select it.
The file will open inside your copy of TurboCAD Mac version 4.
